I know I haven’t been posting about my set every week, but this week’s was worthy of noting. If you like your drum and bass like I like my drum and bass, prepare for about an hour and forty-eight minutes of wicked ish. Lots of new tunage in this one, especially in the first hour. Hear me every Tuesday at 7:00PM EST, or grab the mix from the DNBRadio.com Archives.
I played for like three hours or so today. Lots of new tunes mixed with others that might be more familiar… People were seriously digging this set. So if you like dnb that just doesn’t stop, check it out in the archives. There was an interruption, so it’s in a couple pieces, but here they are:
I did a long set last night… Check it out here:
New set from yours truly. This time with a set list that should be good.

I did a pretty badass set last night… I would make a torrent to post, but I’m lazy… and you can get it on the dnbradio archives anyway.
Holy crap. A friend of mine just linked me to the Hospital Podcast. It’s an iTunes podcast that comes down as a 96 kbit AAC… WOW! This podcast is amazing. Every single tune I’ve heard has been between really good and f&#n excellent. The podcast is presented by Hospital’s own London Elektricity. I highly recommend this one!
I just spun a pretty decent set tonight… catch it in the dnbradio archive.

I haven’t missed a week yet! Check out my latest mix in the DNBRadio Archive and another good recent one has been added to the torrents page for a few days now.
Update: Oh, and I also meant to mention that I’m now using Textmate to blog with. (Check out the screencast!) It is damn sexy, and I’m not kidding.
Now that I’ve received a replacement power supply for my desktop PC, I’ve been able to put together a new mix. This time, I’ve even put together a track list. My internet connection sucks really bad at home, so not only was I unable to stream live for my show, but I couldn’t even seem to upload a prerecorded show for my slot! The xfers just stalled up after a short while! So, I’m just going to offer a direct link rather than a torrent, which I am unable to seed right now.
And the tracklist:
Apparently, in the eyes of David Barr, my DNB is akin to robot wrestling… and dnbradio needs to use torrents.
Oh, and I spun another nice 2.25 hr set for my show last night. DNBRadio Archive.
The night following my last post, I played for the debut of my official show, -_teh_renegade.mp3”>Teh Renegade. Hooray for the DNBRadio.com archive! :)
I finally decided that trying to work around everybody to play renegades was too annoying, so I requested a real time slot on the schedule. Roughly 24 hrs later, I’m on the official schedule for Loose Threads & Heavy Beats at 12:00am Wednesday’s … which is really more like Tuesday night. Until DJ Serpico returns for the immediately preceeding Decompression Sessions, though, I’ll be able to come on at 11:00 instead.
I got such good feedback from my original Chillax mix that it seemed another one was a good idea. This time, we’ve put together another blend of different liquid type styles, but focusing on some real funky, beat driven tunes. I need to credit my girl Julie for supporting this effort. She helped me pick out some tracks and offered moral support. Yay!

This wicked 69:39 set was just aired and recorded live on dnbradio.com. Check it out.
Weighing in at 63:32, this one aims to f u’r sh_ up with some new material that I’ve recently acquired. The first part of it was played on dnbradio.com, but when the next scheduled dj (F|ood) came along, I had to cut the dnbradio appearance short. Luckily, though, I finished with a few listeners on the private stream with no interruption! Badass tunes for real… I highly recommend this one. Check it out on the torrents page.
